Soccer fields … looks like this could be our new home.  While Casiday, Lucy, Laura, and Tara played on the field, Ella played off it.

August 24

Soccer.  We entered a new world this year … soccer!  Casiday decided she wanted to play last spring so this year she has joined the Rec. Dept. league here in Glynn County.

One week of drills before the big draft!  Her friends Lucy, Laura and Tara also play.

Buying C’s first pair of pointe shoes.  We went with our friends Natalie and Victoria.   Had a great time!

Tonight we celebrated Big Jay’s 40th birthday with an 80s bash for friends & family.  It was so much fun!

I am not sure how I feel about seeing my 10-year-old in a formal that I wore my sophomore year in high school but she had so much fun.

It was a great night – even with the black frosting on the cake which Ella & Casiday (and every other child there clearly loved!).
