Casiday took three more classes today at DR … Theatrical Jazz, Modern, and Tribal Funk.

Our first trip to Aquatica, Sea World’s water park.  We LOVED it!!

 

These are the Commerson’s Dolphins – one of the slides goes through their tank.  Casiday saw them swimming over her as she went through the slide.  VERY cool.

Daddy’s sunglasses broke as soon as we got to the park.  So he was squinty all day long … but Casiday & Mommy noticed that all the boy lifeguards were wearing girls’ sunglasses, so when we left the park, we figured Daddy could easily wear Mommy’s extra pair without looking goofy.  Maybe we were wrong??  :)

August 10

Last summer hurrah in Orlando!  We drove down after eating lunch with the Senior Adults at Olive Garden in Jacksonville.   Got there in time to check in to our hotel and hit the evening shows at Sea World.

Tonight we celebrated Big Jay’s 40th birthday with an 80s bash for friends & family.  It was so much fun!

Casiday decided to wear this:

I am not sure how I feel about seeing my 10-year-old in a formal that I wore my sophomore year in high school but she had so much fun.

It was a great night – even with the black frosting on the cake which Ella & Casiday (and every other child there clearly loved!).

Teri Lynne began a new project in June … Scripture Dig.   A website designed to equip, encourage, and empower women to DIG into God’s Word.  

One of the features of Scripture Dig  is “Your Turn.”  An opportunity for our readers to share their perspective and insights and to put into practice what we are teaching.

Today, “Your Turn” was all about how we mark in our Bibles.  Here are pictures of my Bibles that I shared on the site.
