Sunday morning.
New hair color.
{and my super cool red leather jacket!}
Beautiful daughter.
{who is clearly “over” getting pictures taken.}
Scott was already at the church or I would have forced him to have a picture made too.
{Wonder if that’s why he leaves so early on Sundays??}

The day of trying new things …not the least of which is, apparently, public humiliation by posting pics like this on my public blog. Enjoy!
I figured out that I can color my hair at home ALL year for less than it costs to to the salon one time. This is my transition to a lighter color for spring color … Granier #535 … with some sort of delightful name like “Perfect for Teri Lynne” or maybe it was Medium Gold Mahogany Brown. Either way …
This is what I look like “in process.”
Yeah, it’s a small picture … I’m still incredibly vain.
Oh, you wanna see the final result … sorry, that’s tomorrow’s picture. Yes, I’m willing to employ trickery to get you to keep looking at my pictures.

Pretty much everywhere else in the U.S. is buried in snow. There was even snow in Muscle Shoals this week. Snow flurries as close to us as Hinesville. But, no snow here in Brunswick. It’s cold … and has been pretty rainy. They predicted snow. Didn’t happen.
But my camellia bush is beautiful.
{If any horticulture specialists happen to look at this blog, I’d be happy to know what sort of treatment I need to give this plant to get it healthy again. Thanks!}

Since Christmas, my kitchen table has had no adornment. Just a tablecloth … a pretty tablecloth, of course. But no other decoration. It needed something. So, this is what I came up with today.
I like it. And that adorable crock … a wedding gift from a sweet member of my Daddy’s church in Palmyra. Believe me, that crock has served many purposes. Probably my most-used wedding gift.

Finally a picture of Grace with her momma, Donna. We attended the True Love Waits banquet at BIBC tonight. I’m so excited because 31 students are participating in this wonderful DiscipleNow weekend!!

Casiday’s class had a field trip to Ft. Frederica. Each year the 4th graders at Satilla Marsh participate in a archaeological dig with the National Park Services at the Fort. Today was the first of three trips we’ll make to Ft. Frederica for this project.
We toured the grounds and had a great time! We are both looking forward to the dig and the lab day in March.

Today’s picture is entirely an effort to win a free Gooseberry Patch cookbook! In case anyone doesn’t know, I absolutely love Gooseberry Patch … and their cookbooks are incredible!
So, tonight I made the Broccoli Parmesan from the Family Favorites cookbook. It was delicious!!
Here’s the picture of me (clearly with no makeup!), the cookbook, and the yummy food!
{And you can see the ever adorable Casiday Hope in the background with her big cheesy smile and that towel on her head!! Too funny.}
