More work in the yard ... we finished the little patio for my new green chairs.  And, I've tested them out with both Scott and Deborah.  The whole spot is perfect for relaxing!!

We also put mulch in the flower bed ... it looks so good!!

And here's a view of all of it!

May 28 - part 1 {Yard Work}

Today we built a new fire pit.  Woo hoo!  Our backyard is really becoming our favorite place.

And we built a little patio of sorts for my new Quiet Time chairs ...

Here is the new brick edging on the back flower bed ... where we also added some new flora.

And this is what Casiday and Lydia did while we worked ...

More yard work ... and a beautiful new flower bed is finished!

Here's a panorama view of the whole yard ... {which I did not realize my camera would do until today!}

We are thrilled with how it has all turned out and enjoy spending evenings out there looking at this ~

Today we bought more dirt ... for the backyard.  And since we can't be in Muscle Shoals working in the yard there, how cool is it that we can go to Lowe's here and buy a little Muscle Shoals dirt for the yard here??

May 15

Today, we worked in the yard ... all. day. long.

But we made some great progress!!

Isn't that confederate jasmine amazing?  It smells delicious!  And I cannot wait for our tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers!! Yummmmmm ....

Casiday "helped" ...

And then she jumped off the picnic table.  (No need for any parenting skill comments, we know how awesome we are for letting her do that!! LOL)

Here is the super-cool hummingbird feeder my family talked me into getting ... I generally don't like small flying creatures.  But this feeder is just plain old awesome!

And on Tuesday afternoon, Scott and I will finish up this flower bed.  He has to build a border before we put it all in the ground ... needs a lot of good dirt!
